Monthly Mindfulness Classes

These meetings are for those that have completed an 8 week Mindfulness course with myself.
It is an opportunity to support your ongoing Mindfulness practice and each month we focus on a different theme. We start with a Mindfulness practice, followed by a talk on the theme for the month and then there is time for questions and discussion.
These meetings are held on the second Monday of the month in Cork (Bru Columbanus, Cork) and the third Monday of the month in Clonmel (Clonmel Community Resource Center, Kickham Street).

There is no set charge for the night but it is offered in the spirit of “Dana” or generosity. This is an ancient practice whereby the teacher offers teachings or guidance out of generosity and those receiving them have the opportunity to show their generosity by giving a donation at the end of the night to cover whatever they feel needs to be covered.

This term we will focus on the basics of Mindfulness practice. Again and again it is important to come back to the basics of Mindfulness practice and really understand, from your own experience, that through a regular meditation/ mindfulness practice you are building a solid foundation so that when the storms of life hit, there is a steadiness deep within.

 

Until restrictions for group meetings are made clear these monthly meetings are being offered on-line via Zoom by invitation.

Basic Mindfulness course for beginners or as a refresher. (Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy) -a good course for beginners or as a refresher.

Grateful Living - Thursdays for 4 weeks from 8th April

A four week course for two hours once a week.. This new course will encourage living in the Great Fullness of life - grateful living rather than focusing solely on gratitude.
